Our team was asked to design a new kitchen and serving area that would be in a brand-new addition for the kitchen and cafeteria. Minimal cooking was required but a walk-in cooler, prep space, and two serving lines were required for the student population. The district requested the serving area to be in the kitchen area with adequate queuing for the students.
The breath guards on the serving line are fully adjustable so the food can be served or changed to a self-service operation. The new kitchen and serving is more efficient, modern, and inviting for both students and staff.
