The design team was asked to help accommodate the school's growing number of students. An open serving area with self-serve stations was desired by the administration.
To do this, the new serving lines have solid surface tray slides with lights underneath, hot, cold, convertible and self-service stations, and plenty of storage. The hood was also updated, along with some of the cooking equipment.
The students are loving the modern and updated space, which has influenced the increase in participation in the food service program.
